Article 1. Who we are

We are reachable by phone during salon opening hours. We answer email within two working days.

Article 2. Scope

These terms apply to every offer from This is happening and to every distance agreement between us and you as a consumer. Before you enter into the agreement we make these terms available to you, so that you can save or print them.

Where a provision in these terms departs from mandatory consumer law, consumer law prevails. If a provision is void or annulled, the remaining provisions continue to apply.

Article 3. The offer

Our offer in the shop is without obligation while stocks last. We describe products as completely and accurately as we can. Images are a truthful representation; colours may differ slightly on screen from the actual product.

Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer, such as a clearly incorrect price, do not bind us. We will contact you as soon as possible and you may cancel at no cost.

Article 4. The agreement

The agreement is concluded when you place the order and meet the stated conditions. We confirm your order by email immediately. Until we have sent that confirmation, you may dissolve the agreement.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure your data and the electronic payment.

Article 5. Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days to dissolve the purchase without giving a reason. The full arrangement, the exceptions and the model form are in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Article 6. Prices

All prices are in euros and include VAT, excluding shipping costs. Shipping costs are shown separately before you check out. Prices are not increased during the validity of the offer, except for changes in the VAT rate.

Article 7. Payment

You can pay with the payment methods shown at checkout, including iDEAL and credit card. Payment is made when the order is placed. Report any inaccuracies in the payment details you provide to us immediately.

Article 8. Delivery

We deliver to the address you gave with your order. Delivery times and shipping costs are in our shipping policy. We deliver within 30 days unless agreed otherwise. The risk of damage or loss lies with us until you receive the product.

Article 9. Conformity and guarantee

We warrant that the products comply with the agreement, with the specifications stated in the offer and with statutory requirements. If a product does not, you are entitled to free repair, replacement, a price reduction or dissolution, under the statutory arrangement. Any manufacturer guarantee does not affect these rights.

Article 10. Salon appointments

Treatments in the salon are by appointment. If you cannot come, let us know at least 24 hours in advance and there is no charge. The same applies to a gift card for a treatment.

Article 11. Gift cards

Gift cards can be redeemed in the shop and in the salon. They cannot be exchanged for cash. Any remaining value stays on the card. Gift cards are valid for at least two years from the date of issue.

Article 12. Complaints

Submit complaints about performance of the agreement to us fully and clearly described within a reasonable time of discovering the defect, at info@this-is-happening.nl. We respond within 14 days. If we expect to need longer, we will say so within that period.

If we cannot resolve it together, you can register your dispute with the European ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Article 13. Personal data

We process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). How we do that is set out in our privacy policy.

Article 14. Applicable law

Dutch law applies to agreements between us and you. As a consumer you retain the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live.
