An oversized men's parka built for weather that actually turns bad, not just a light shower. The waterproof rating covers heavy rainfall, backed by a column pressure of 20,000 mm, which is the water pressure the fabric can hold before it starts to leak through.
The shell is Dense Micro Twill with a DWR Bionic finish Eco, a fluorine free treatment that makes water bead off the surface rather than soak in. Seams are fully taped so the stitching holes do not let water through, and breathability of 8,000 g/m2 lets sweat vapor escape so you do not end up clammy underneath. A reflective strip adds visibility in low light.
The fit is subtly oversized, roomy enough for a layer underneath without looking bulky, which is why it moves between city streets and actual outdoor use without a change of jacket. Comes in M and L. The garment is BPA and AZO free, and no animal materials are used.
