A classic parka from GOFRANCK in Andorra Red, built for actual bad weather rather than just looking like it. The column pressure is rated at 20,000mm, a serious number for a coat: it means the fabric holds up under heavy, sustained rainfall rather than just shedding a light shower.
The shell is Dense Micro Twill woven from recycled yarn, with every seam taped so water cannot work its way in through the stitching. Breathability sits at 8,000 g/m2, enough to let body moisture escape on a long walk instead of trapping it against you, and the DWR Bionic finish that keeps water off the surface is fluorine free. On its own it keeps you comfortable down to about -5°C.
YKK zippers throughout, a reflective strip for visibility after dark, and no animal materials used anywhere in the construction. Fabric and trims are also free of BPA and AZO dyes. Available in S and M.
