Jeanne Black

Jeanne is a slim glove in leather and wool, cut with a sporty, feminine line. The backhand and palm are Italian lamb nappa, a leather that stays supple in the cold instead of stiffening, with a soft natural sheen.

A ribbed wool blend runs along the finger sides and the cuff, a plain contrast to the smooth leather. Inside, a brushed polyester lining sits soft against the skin, and a half piqué seam along the top of the fingers gives a close, tidy fit.

Warm enough for autumn and the milder days of a Dutch winter, not for a hard frost. Runs in sizes 6½ to 8, and Hestra also makes Jeanne as a mitten if you want more warmth for the same hand.
